How it works
- Grade — Pre-K through 12th picks how hard the words are. Word lists are grouped in pairs, so grade 5 and grade 6 share a list.
- Beginner — 10 tries, unlimited clues, and the clue describes the word properly.
- Average — 8 tries and 5 clues. The first one is vague; ask again and it sharpens into the real description.
- Pro — 7 tries. Clues stay locked until you get 3 letters wrong, and then you have 5 — but the vague one is the only description you ever get.
The higher the level, the vaguer the clue. Once the descriptions run out, each extra clue opens up one hidden letter instead. Words never repeat until you have played every word on the list, and you can type letters on a keyboard instead of clicking.
